PartFisher is an aviation hardware search and reference application. This policy explains how information is handled by the PartFisher app and the partfisher.com website.

Accounts and personal information

PartFisher does not currently require a user account or login. The current app does not use advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics, cloud account services, or background user tracking.

Local app data

Features such as Recent Searches and My Tool Tracker store user-entered or usage-related information locally on the user’s device. This local app data is not uploaded to PartFisher servers as part of normal app operation.

Issue reports and email

If you choose to report an issue, request support, or contact PartFisher for business purposes, the app or website may open your email client with a pre-filled message. Your email provider sends only the information you choose to submit. This may include your email address, message content, and technical details such as a part number, app version, database version, or coverage status.

Website hosting

PartFisher.com is hosted using Netlify. Hosting and security infrastructure may process routine technical information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, browser information, and security logs as part of operating and protecting the website. PartFisher does not currently use advertising trackers or behavioral analytics on this website.

Google Play

If you install PartFisher through Google Play, Google may process information related to app distribution, installation, updates, security, and Play services according to Google’s own privacy policies and terms.

Third-party links

PartFisher may link to standards organizations, manufacturers, documentation sources, or other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Data retention

Support emails, issue reports, and business correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, investigate issues, maintain an audit trail of corrections, and operate the product. You may request deletion of an email conversation by contacting us.

Children

PartFisher is intended as a technical reference tool for adults and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if PartFisher adds features such as accounts, cloud sync, analytics, subscriptions, crash reporting, or other data-processing functionality. The current version will remain available on this page.
